SUNDAY SELECTION

Today we have a Sunday selection of songs led off by Tab Hunter who at 74 looks as young as ever.

Tab says he does not want to be remembered as a gay icon; he doesn’t support same-sex marriage and finds the tactics of some gay rights activists obnoxious.

Hunter, who achieved fame in the 1950s as a star of film, television and music, holds old-school beliefs on matters of faith and sexual politics. A devout Catholic who attends Mass more than once a week, Hunter is also openly gay and lives with his partner of 23 years.

Tab Hunter - Young love. The other version was of course Sonny James.
Billy Fury - Collette
Tommy Steele - A handful of songs
Paul Anka - Eso Beso.
Alvin Stardust - Pretend
Bobby Darin - Lost love.  A talent lost at such a young age but in those few years achieved so much.
Joe Dowell - Wooden Heart. An Elvis song from G I Blues covered because they decided not release it as a single (at least in the USA) for the King.
Garry Glitter - Donna
Jimmy Jones - Handy man
